Most of our work these days is so digital. Every time I run into one of these huge outdoor boards in the wild, it blows my mind. Wow, we made a thing, and there it is.
What Summer Wants
This was a fun little one-off. Summer is prime time for Corona, and every year they do a campaign-agnostic summer promo. A nice open lane to play in.
Problem is, summer turns into a loud marketing food fight. Every brand on Earth is out there crowning itself the “official car / soft drink / flip-flop / emotional support widget of summer.” So we figured… let’s zag.
Why should anyone listen to us, when you can take it from Summer?

A Corona Gets its Lime
I stepped into Corona land in year two of the Corona Gets Its Lime campaign, blissfully unaware of the specific chaos I was volunteering for. If I’d known what I was getting myself into, I might’ve… well, I still would’ve said yes, but maybe with a deeper sigh first.
These spots sit on top of a giant mountain of dead headlines and beachy scenarios that didn’t make the cut. Like an invisible graveyard of “what if it’s a hammock… but wiser?” ideas. But that’s the churn sometimes. That’s the job.
And honestly, the dream of shooting beautiful people on beautiful South American beaches kept my fingers typing through the pile. Because if you’re gonna be buried in drafts, you might as well be buried in sunshine.
